My Story: Son of a Claimant
I was born and raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia. My mother was a special education teacher and my father was an electrician. My path to becoming an attorney began at the young age of twelve when my father passed away as the result of a work accident. The strength, courage and grace my mother displayed through her very long and taxing legal battle with workers’ compensation after my father’s passing is my biggest inspiration in choosing to help individuals faced with similar challenges.
After graduating from Manchester High School, I headed to southwest Virginia where I attended college and law school. I returned home to Chesterfield County after law school and began my legal profession. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, playing drums, fishing the Swift Creek Reservoir and cheering on my beloved Virginia Tech Hokies in football and basketball. I also try to find as much time as possible to practice my Spanish.
